Abstracts will only be considered if they meet the following criteria:
Maximum of 300 words
Add at least 1 descriptive keyword
Lead author’s organisation and email details must be included
Focus the weight of the abstract on the content of your presentation and not the background and context. In the interest of fairness, all abstracts will be blind reviewed. Please do not include your name, institution or other identifying characteristics in the 300-word abstract.
Poster presenters will be expected to be available at their posters during the designated poster view times during the conference. You do not have to be a BSSS member to submit. We encourage submissions from related disciplines as well as soil science. The conference will be in-person only so if your abstract is selected, you will be required to purchase a ticket and attend the event to present. There will be discounted tickets for BSSS members. If you are not already a member,
you can find out more on the BSSS website – soils.org.uk/membership.
You can submit more than 1 abstract if you wish. If you are currently working on your project and will be collecting results later in the year, you can still submit now and have the chance to amend your presentation closer to the conference if it is selected.
If you have any further questions or queries, please contact the
BSSS office via email at admin@soils.org.uk
